The Grand
Strand Chapter of SCORE #381 was named South Carolina’s Chapter of the Year for
2007. SCORE is a non-profit network of retired business executives who assist
entrepreneurs with their small businesses. The following workshops are offered
in conjunction with Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC). The courses are
offered at the HGTC campus listed with the description of the course. The course

If you are just beginning to think about starting your own business, this class will help you get started. A quick walk through of the necessary tasks required to start your own business. The concepts of focusing your business idea, planning the business, organizing the resources, directing the action, and controlling the tasks will be explored. Handouts included in tuition. 3 hrs
