SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business, is a nonprofit association dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs. We offer help and education with the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE, founded in 1964, is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Grand Strand SCORE has been chosen Chapter of the Year in South Carolina for 2007.

Both working and retired executives and business owners have volunteered their time and expertise. We try to match you up with a counselor that has REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE in your particular field of interest, not just offering textbook solutions.

The Area offices of SCORE have over 20 men and women with years of experience in all areas of retail, manufacturing, sales and service businesses. Each year thousands of clients are counseled and helped at no charge.

Sign up for Free Counseling

If you want to meet with a Counselor for free counseling, we ask that you complete a Request for Counseling (641) form. HOLD down the SHIFT key and CLICK on the "Download here" link. You will be asked if you want to open or save the 641 file. SAVE it and make a note of the name and of where you saved it. After you save it, you can open it and fill it out. Please complete all of the SHADED areas on the form, if some don't apply to you, enter N/A. After filling it out, SAVE it again. You can then email it to us by including it as an ATTACHMENT to an email, or print it out and mail or fax it to us.
